Sunday school via zoom

Who We Are

Ever heard of the buddy system? Its official definition is "a procedure in which two individuals, the 'buddies', operate together as a single unit so that they are able to monitor and help each other."  We are taking this theory and applying it to our adult Sunday school! We are encouraging you to form a small group, which in these times means someone you are already in contact with safely, whether it be friends, family, coworkers, or neighbors. Schedule a time once a week where you can get together and socialize. Maybe eat a meal together, sit by a campfire or on a porch and then spend time together with The Lord!

What We Do

Now find your nearest computer, tablet, or smart phone and watch the weekly bible study video together. Every Monday, a new video and study guide is posted on the CMBC website and app under the  Connections and Sunday School tabs. These studies will be constantly changing (currently studying The Last Days of Jesus). After watching the video, take time to look at the study guide with your small group and learn from each other in discussion. God directs us to have curious minds - use this curiosity to learn more about the Word and each other!

What's Different

Are you an early riser and enjoy time for study before your church Sunday begins? Do you have time conflicts with the regular Sunday school time but still want to be involved in Sunday school? Are you in an at-risk health group and don't feel comfortable gathering at the church? There are now two opportunities on Sunday mornings for you to enjoy getting together with your church family for further discussion. We are still gathering at 9:45 am for traditional adult Sunday school in the coffee shop. Alternatively, we are adding a Zoom discussion at 9:00 am for those who can't/shouldn't be there in person. You can find the meeting link on the CMBC website and app calendars. We are looking forward to hearing what your small group learned!
