Have you ever closed your Bible and thought, “What did I just read?” Maybe you've tried to read through the Bible but quit when it felt confusing or impersonal?
The Bible Recap is here to help! It’s a short podcast (~8 minutes per day) by Tara-Leigh Cobble. She’ll highlight and summarize that day’s Bible reading in a casual, easy to understand way to not only help you read scripture but to love reading it!
Each day you’ll have a devotional and assigned Bible reading. then do the The Bible Recap podcast (see links below to find on your favorite platform) after you've finished reading.
Everyone is invited to join us on Sunday evenings at 6pm, beginning January 8, for Bible Study that will follow The Bible Recap.

HERE'S HOW TO JOIN US AS WE READ THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR:
For CMBC App users:
- Open the CMBC app and click The Bible Recap icon on the Home tab. Follow the prompts, if you have a YouVersion account, sign in. If you do not have a YouVersion account, create one!
- Join the Messaging Group, the Bible Recap. Feel free to share your thoughts, questions and findings with others in the group, as we read together.
- On January 1, open the CMBC app, click the Bible Recap icon on the Home, click Start this Plan.
- Each day you’ll have a devotional and assigned Bible reading. After the readings, click The Bible Recap podcast icon and choose your favorite platform to listen to the day's podcast. Be sure to set the settings on your favorite platform to sort the episodes with the newest first because the podcasts are loaded daily.
